Inspect an HP ProVision switch

Select the HP ProCurve switch and open its Web UI from the device toolbar.

Check the switch name and model on the dashboard.

Open Interfaces to see which port is connected and which port is down.

Use the switch terminal to create a training VLAN and assign port one.

Save the configuration and use the terminal to confirm the new VLAN.

Open VLANs in the Web UI to inspect the training VLAN and its port count.

Open Routing to check the routing status and static route inventory.

Reopen the lab and confirm that the training VLAN is still listed.
