Edit and commit an interface in J-Web

Select the Junos device and open J-Web from the device toolbar.

In Configure, select the port and enter the interface description.

Select OK to stage the edit and check that Commit Options shows a pending change.

The running configuration stays unchanged while the edit is pending.

Select Commit Options to apply the staged description.

Check the running configuration to confirm the change on the selected interface.

Open J-Web on the separate Junos Evolved device to use the same workflow.

Stage the description for its selected port, then commit the edit.

Reopen the lab and confirm that both devices still show their own committed descriptions.
