Use the Cisco NX-OS Web UI Select your Cisco NX-OS switch and open its Web UI from the device toolbar. Check the switch name before you edit its configuration. In Interfaces, choose the routed port and apply a description. Verify the port in the switch terminal and copy the running configuration to startup. Use the connected Linux PC to verify that it can reach the switch. In Routing, enter the destination network, mask, and reachable next hop. Check the new static route in the live routing table, then save the configuration. Reopen the lab and confirm that the route is still listed on the same switch. Delete the route in the Web UI and verify that it leaves the live routing table. Open VLANs to check the training VLAN in the switch inventory.
