Manage people, seats and ownership

Invite and approve teachers and students, change roles, remove members, rotate or revoke links, and understand current seats and sponsored access. The later ownership chapter shows a qualified handoff. Clearly labeled license-history examples show the grace period, sponsorship stopping, school unpublishing and recovery.

  1. Bring teachers and students into your school

  2. Create a link for the role you intend to invite.

  3. Instructor invitations wait for the school owner’s approval.

  4. Accepting this link requests Instructor membership.

  5. Pending membership does not yet allow teaching.

  6. Approve the person you intended to invite.

  7. Teachers can read the roster. Owner settings stay with the owner.

  8. An active Instructor can prepare lessons in Schedule.

  9. Student links join directly when a school membership seat is available.

  10. Joining the school does not enroll you in a lesson.

  11. Public requests wait for owner approval.

  12. Change a member’s teaching role from the roster.

  13. Remove membership to revoke school access; personal labs are kept.

  14. Rotate a link to replace the old address.

  15. The old link cannot be accepted.

  16. The replacement is valid until it is revoked or its limits are reached.

  17. Revoke the replacement when you no longer want it used.

  18. Membership seats and lesson enrollment limits are different.

  19. Your personal plan stays Free; this school currently provides Pro access.

  20. School seat purchases, grants and payment collection are deferred.

  21. Transfer ownership to a qualifying member

  22. Ownership transfer currently requires a member ID.

  23. The incoming owner needs an active personal plan that can sustain the school.

  24. The former owner keeps an active teaching membership.

  25. The incoming owner now has the school’s owner controls.

  26. Example: the owner’s licence has lapsed

  27. Sponsorship continues during the initial grace period. Read the dates in this warning.

  28. This example still has school-sponsored Pro access during the grace period.

  29. Example: more than 14 days since lapse

  30. Sponsored access stops after the grace period. Members return to their own plans.

  31. This example now uses the student’s own Free plan.

  32. Example: more than 30 days since lapse

  33. The school becomes unpublished. Its data has not been deleted.

  34. This example now uses the student’s own Free plan.

  35. After the qualifying personal plan is restored

  36. A restored qualifying plan restores this lapse-suspended school and sponsorship.

  37. This example uses a test fixture. No payment or renewal checkout is shown.

  38. The student’s personal plan is still Free; sponsored Pro access is restored.
