Help students and share their work

Select a student and device for assistance, send a command and leave the help session. Use Spotlight to share a student’s real working lab and switch presenters while preserving each personal copy.

  1. Teacher: help a student on the selected device

  2. Choose the student’s device before sending a command.

  3. Student: know when the teacher is helping

  4. The help badge shows that your teacher is present.

  5. Teacher: leave assistance when finished

  6. Leave closes this help session and returns you to the class.

  7. Teacher: invite a student to present

  8. Spotlight makes one student the presenter. Everyone else watches.

  9. Student: present your own working lab

  10. Your topology and CLI output now form the shared stage.

  11. Student: watch the selected presenter

  12. Your own lab stays separate while Alice presents.

  13. Teacher: switch the presenter

  14. Selecting Bob switches the stage and presentation authority.

  15. You can select Alice again without replacing either student’s work.
