Two provider edge routers connect through a core router.
Use OSPF to make the provider loopbacks reachable across the core.
Enable MPLS on the provider links and verify that LDP neighbors come up.
Check the forwarding table for a label toward the far provider edge.
Create the customer VRF and give each edge router a distinct route distinguisher.
Attach a customer loopback to each VRF and configure the route targets.
Set up a VPNv4 BGP session between the provider loopbacks.
The BGP session is up, but the customer prefix is missing with mismatched route targets.
Add the matching export target on the remote edge router.
The customer prefix now appears in the VPN and in the receiving VRF.
Ping the remote customer loopback from inside the VRF.
The global routing table stays separate from the customer routes.
