  1. This prepared lab contains a Cisco Nexus vPC pair and an Arista MLAG pair.

  2. Select the Nexus switch and open vPC in its device Web UI.

  3. Check the domain, peer status, keepalive, peer link and member port-channel.

  4. Compare the same domain and member status with show vpc in the terminal.

  5. Select the Arista switch and inspect its prepared VLANs.

  6. Open MLAG to review the domain, peer address, peer link and negotiated state.

  7. Compare the MLAG domain and interfaces with the Arista terminal.

  8. These pages report device status; configure each platform with its own supported commands.

  9. Disable the prepared Arista peer link, then refresh MLAG to inspect the inactive state.

  10. Restore the peer link and confirm that the active state returns in both views.

  11. Reopen the saved lab and confirm the selected device and its status.

  12. An unconfigured switch shows a clear empty state instead of invented peer status.
